<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Following the LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special, and just in time for Halloween, <a href="https://www.disneyplus.com/movies/lego-star-wars-terrifying-tales/4CysUZZ8Cfmw" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales</a> debuted October 1, 2021 on Disney+. We watched this short film and what follows is our LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales review!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The film posters are very well done. They look scary, but really are scarier than we found the actual film to be.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This special takes place after the events of The Rise of Skywalker. Poe and BB-8 find themselves crash landed on the Sith planet Mustafar. They soon discover that Darth Vader&#8217;s old castle is being renovated into a luxury Sith-inspired resort by Graballa the Hutt. Poe and BB-8 need their X-Wing repaired, but before Graballa will let his mechanic, Dean, fix the ship, he wants Poe to agree to help him advertise his hotel. The lone resident of the castle, Darth Vader&#8217;s loyal servant Vaneé, lures them deep into the mysterious structure. While they travel, Vaneé shares three creepy stories.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Three Terrifying Tales</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The first terrifying tale is called &#8220;The Lost Boy.&#8221; It expands more on the story of how Ben Solo became Kylo Ren. It also introduces the character Ren, who is the leader of the Knights of Ren. Find out more about how Ben joins the Dark Side and how he gets his name!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Ren-and-Kylo-Ren.png?resize=1024%2C576&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Review Ren and Kylo Ren" class="wp-image-1630" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Ren-and-Kylo-Ren.png?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Ren-and-Kylo-Ren.png?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Ren-and-Kylo-Ren.png?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Ren-and-Kylo-Ren.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption> Credit: Lucasfilm</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second terrifying tale is “The Dueling Monstrosities.” This refers to Darth Maul and General Grievous! Darth Sidious sends them on a search for the Saber of Scardont.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Darth-Maul.png?resize=1024%2C576&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Review Darth Maul" class="wp-image-1631" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Darth-Maul.png?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Darth-Maul.png?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Darth-Maul.png?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Darth-Maul.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption> Credit: Lucasfilm</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The third, and last, terrifying tale is “The Wookie’s Paw.” It is told in the style of the new “What If&#8230;?&#8221; Marvel show. The story imagines what happens when Luke Skywalker joins the Empire and eventually the Dark Side, working with his father, Darth Vader.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Luke-Skywalker-Empire-1024x576.png?resize=1024%2C576&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Review Luke Skywalker Empire" class="wp-image-1632" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Luke-Skywalker-Empire.png?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Luke-Skywalker-Empire.png?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Luke-Skywalker-Empire.png?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-Luke-Skywalker-Empire.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption> Credit: Lucasfilm</figcaption></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The film is visually impressive, with great voice acting. And it also includes the iconic LEGO humor you have come to expect if you have watched any prior LEGO shows. It is entertaining for both kids and adults alike. Here you can see BB-8 gets into some paint and then ends up looking like a Halloween pumpkin!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-BB-8-Pumpkin.png?resize=1024%2C576&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Review BB-8 Pumpkin" class="wp-image-1633" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-BB-8-Pumpkin.png?resize=1024%2C576&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-BB-8-Pumpkin.png?resize=300%2C169&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-BB-8-Pumpkin.png?resize=768%2C432&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/LEGO-Star-Wars-Terrifying-Tales-BB-8-Pumpkin.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /><figcaption> Credit: Lucasfilm</figcaption></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Is LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales Too Scary?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The program is rated TV-Y7-FV. This means it is most appropriate for children age 7 and up and has fantasy violence that may be more intense or more combative than other TV-Y7 shows. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I definitely agree with this recommendation. I would not want my toddler to watch this show as I think it would be too scary for him. If in doubt, you can always watch it first to gauge how scary it may be for your kids.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How Long is the Film?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The run time of LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales is 46 minutes.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Would You Recommend LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales?</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Yes, this is a great Halloween special to watch with the whole family! Fans of <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/tag/lego-star-wars/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO Star Wars</a> will be sure to enjoy it.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator is-style-wide"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Toy Story is one of our favorite movie franchises. Who could forget watching the original? I was lucky enough to see it in theaters! Let&#8217;s take a look at our review of LEGO 7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue. This set depicts an iconic scene from the first film and features three of the most amazing characters: Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and RC! This was such a fun build and took us back to that intense time in the movie, where Buzz and Woody are trying to catch up to Andy&#8217;s moving truck!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The box depicts the action scene from <em>Toy Story 1</em> when Woody lights the rocket strapped to Buzz, and they ride RC to try to catch up to Andy! Notice the motor action at the bottom which shows how RC can really drive! Be sure not to miss our video showing how this works near the end of this review.</p>

<center><a href="https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-brand-Story-Woody-Rescue/dp/B002KCNVCA?dchild=1&#038;keywords=lego+7590&#038;qid=1630894927&#038;sr=8-1&#038;linkCode=li3&#038;tag=internmedici-20&#038;linkId=1c7180a4bed6288f3a341b079805782b&#038;language=en_US&#038;ref_=as_li_ss_il" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><img decoding="async" border="0" alt="LEGO 7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue Review" src="//ws-na.amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?_encoding=UTF8&#038;ASIN=B002KCNVCA&#038;Format=_SL500_&#038;ID=AsinImage&#038;MarketPlace=US&#038;ServiceVersion=20070822&#038;WS=1&#038;tag=internmedici-20&#038;language=en_US" ></a><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" src="https://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=internmedici-20&#038;language=en_US&#038;l=li3&#038;o=1&#038;a=B002KCNVCA" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" /></center>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instructions depict the same scene as the box. I&#8217;m sure you will recognize the white clouds of Andy&#8217;s wallpaper! For 92 pieces, the instructions are not that long.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/LEGO-7590-Woody-and-Buzz-to-the-Rescue-Instructions.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue Review Instructions" class="wp-image-1280" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/LEGO-7590-Woody-and-Buzz-to-the-Rescue-Instructions.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/LEGO-7590-Woody-and-Buzz-to-the-Rescue-Instructions.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/LEGO-7590-Woody-and-Buzz-to-the-Rescue-Instructions.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/LEGO-7590-Woody-and-Buzz-to-the-Rescue-Instructions.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minifigures</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The best part about this build are the incredible minifigs. This set features the older style of minifigure heads. Notice how they more resemble the Pixar characters and are not the standard LEGO size. I prefer this style, versus the standard size ones released in later sets. Although, Woody&#8217;s hat is not removable. Buzz&#8217;s helmet and flight apparatus are removable. Also notice how Woody&#8217;s legs are longer than standard size.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The great detail continues on the back. The wings on Buzz&#8217;s suit can come off. I really like how it shows Andy&#8217;s pull string on the back of Woody.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The build comes in two parts, with the rocket and RC. The rocket is only 6 pieces, and can be strapped on the back of Buzz. It says the &#8220;Big One&#8221; on the side. I bet you read that in Sid&#8217;s voice, didn&#8217;t you?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">RC is also an amazing part of this build. His character and appearance are precisely reproduced in LEGO form. You can immediately tell this is just no ordinary car!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Let&#8217;s take a look at RC&#8217;s pull-back motor action in this YouTube video. As you may notice, RC doesn&#8217;t go very far after he is pulled back. I didn&#8217;t show this in the video, but if I would pull him back farther and let him go, he would go extremely fast (like too fast out of control). It was hard to find a more controllable medium speed. Also, it was very easy for RC to fall apart if I would try to make him go faster. The playability of this set for that reason is not very good.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-embed aligncenter is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper">
<div class="video-container"><iframe loading="lazy" title="Review: LEGO 7590 Woody and Buzz to the Rescue" width="500" height="281" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/nQRj7-313Ak?feature=oembed&#038;wmode=opaque" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe></div>
</div></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This is a great Toy Story set for the old style of minifigures and the RC build. It really brings back a lot of memories watching <em>Toy Story 1</em>! Although RC does have a pull-back motor, you are probably going to want to leave this as a display item as he is very fragile. </p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator is-style-wide"/>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In our first Minions set review, we take a look at LEGO 40511 Minions Kung Fu Training. This set is based on the upcoming <em>Minions: The Rise Of Gru</em> film. The <a href="https://www.cinemablend.com/news/2568333/minions-2-the-rise-of-gru-release-date-cast-and-other-quick-things-we-know" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">release date</a> was pushed back to July 1, 2022 due to the <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/i-went-to-the-lego-store-during-covid-19-heres-everything-you-need-to-know/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">COVID-19 pandemic</a>. However, there have already been several LEGO sets already released based on this film. You are probably just as confused as I am about this set, well, because we haven&#8217;t been able to see the film yet to put it into context. We are fans of the <em>Despicable Me</em> films and the Minions in this set are cute and full of personality. It is a nice minifigure pack to pick up for your collection. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The standard blister pack packaging is what makes these minifigure packs so unique. It includes four minifigures, accessories, and a small build. At first glance, I had no idea what this gray thing at the bottom was. But, once I discovered the name of this set was Kung Fu Training, I realized it was a practice dummy.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The back of the packaging shows the names of the minifigures: Gru, Bob, Kevin, and <a href="https://despicableme.fandom.com/wiki/Belle_Bottom" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Belle Bottom</a>. She is noted to be the leader of the Vicious 6, so maybe she is the villain in the upcoming movie. She is also listed as an exclusive minifig for this set.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instructions are small and one page, consistent with the other minifigure packs. Notice the in the background, the practice dummy is on the left. Although, it has a lot more detail in this picture than the actual build but at least you can confirm what it is.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40511 Review Minions Kung Fu Training Instructions" class="wp-image-1234" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Instructions.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minifigures</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The minifigures are well done. It&#8217;s hard to know exactly the context as the film has not yet been released. As I was putting it together, these weapon accessories seem sort of violent for a kid&#8217;s film. I guess being &#8220;Kung Fu Training&#8221; explains the weapons, but still it seems a little overkill. I will try not to pass complete judgment until the film debuts. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40511 Review Minions Kung Fu Training Minifigures with Accessories" class="wp-image-1235" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Gru appears to be wearing some dark blue pajamas with a scarf. Bob and Kevin are the stars of this pack. The different colored eyes on Bob is a nice touch, and give him a lot of character. They both have a lot of personality and you can just picture them talking in their Minion voices as you are putting them together. Belle Bottom&#8217;s name likely takes after her wardrobe which is beautifully done from her hair down to the printing on her torso and legs. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40511 Review Minions Kung Fu Training Minifigures" class="wp-image-1236" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Minifigures.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As this is a minifigure pack, the build is small and fast. You can sort of tell this is a practice dummy from the front view. The back view has clips I am guessing to store the weapons when they are not in use. For really what is a micro-build, it is not that bad.</p>

</div>
</div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">When put all together the scale of the practice dummy is minifigure size. It&#8217;s a good group of minifigs and makes us even more excited to watch the film.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Full-Build.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40511 Review Minions Kung Fu Training Full Build 1" class="wp-image-1239" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Full-Build.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Full-Build.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Full-Build.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-40511-Minions-Kung-Fu-Training-Full-Build.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The real stars of this set are the minifigures, especially Bob and Kevin. We just love the Minions! It&#8217;s hard to really judge this set based on a unreleased movie, so we&#8217;ll have to wait and see how this fits into the story line. Regardless, I could do without the practice dummy and weapons, and just create my own fun stories with the minifigures with my family. If you are a Minions fan, this set it worth it to pick up for the great minifigs.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">After the ending of <em>The Clone Wars</em> show, <em>The Bad Batch</em> quickly became one of our favorites on <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/amazon-music-unlimited-deal-get-6-months-of-disney-for-free/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Disney+</a>. We are very excited to be able to take a closer look at <a href="https://amzn.to/3B6e1lB" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO Star Wars 75314 The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle</a> in this review. The clear winners in this set are the minifigures. The shuttle is well done, but the scale is simply too small and the speeder bikes don&#8217;t make a lot of sense. It&#8217;s worth picking up this set just for the minifigures though.</p>
</div>
</div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At 969 pieces, this set is a descent size. At first glance, it appears to come with a lot. In addition to the shuttle, there are two additional speeder vehicles, a gonk droid, and five minifigures.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build </h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You start off by building the first of two speeder bikes. This one is quite large, but it is at minifigure scale. There are two shooters in the front and the steering wheel is adjustable. The repurposed skis on the sides is a nice building technique.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The second speeder is smaller, but is still at minifigure scale. There are some neat building techniques here as well. I like the color pattern here a bit better.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The attack shuttle&#8217;s name is the <em><a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Havoc_Marauder" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Havoc Marauder</a></em>, a modified <em>Omicron</em>-class attack shuttle. <p class="wp-block-paragraph">The cockpit and back of the ship open to reveal a few more details. Two minifigures can fit in the front and two in the back. Here you can really tell the scale of this ship is quite small. It is not build to minifigure scale and you can&#8217;t even fit all of the minifigures inside let alone Gonky as well.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75314-The-Bad-Batch-Attack-Shuttle-Open.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75314 Review The Bad Batch Attack Shuttle Open" class="wp-image-1224" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75314-The-Bad-Batch-Attack-Shuttle-Open.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75314-The-Bad-Batch-Attack-Shuttle-Open.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75314-The-Bad-Batch-Attack-Shuttle-Open.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75314-The-Bad-Batch-Attack-Shuttle-Open.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion </h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The main reason I would recommend purchasing this set is for the amazing minifigures and gonk droid. When compared to the shuttle, the speeders are too large, but this set really suffers from a ship that is too small. It would have been better to add some size to the shuttle itself and forgo the speeders all together. I think the goal was to improve the playability of the set, but I would have preferred a minifig scale shuttle instead. Maybe we&#8217;ll see a UCS version of this ship at some point, which hopefully would include Omega.</p>

This set was my <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/top-10-best-lego-fathers-day-gifts/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Father&#8217;s Day</a> gift this year, and I finally was able to build it! Based on <a href="https://www.starwars.com/news/lego-star-wars-the-mandalorian-trouble-on-tatooine" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><em>The Mandalorian</em> Season 2 Episode 1</a> (the one with Cobb Vanth, the Sand People, and the krayt dragon), this set includes The Mandalorian&#8217;s speeder bike, a Tusken Raider Hut, and a missile-shooting ballista. It is a detailed and relatively quick build, but with three great minifigures (including Baby Yoda) I am so glad I am able to add this to our collection.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Immediately you can see on the box that this set includes the Baby Yoda (or The Child, or Grogu) minifigure! You can also see the three separate builds that this set includes. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">On the back, some playable features are pointed out. These include the expandable Tusken Hut, the ability to shoot missiles from the bowcaster, and the very cute saddlebag that Baby Yoda can tag along in. Mando can also wear it around his neck like a baby carrier.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instructions feature the same art as the box, but notice that Darth Vader appears in the top right corner instead of The Mandalorian.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minifigures</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Let&#8217;s be honest, if you are like me you probably wanted this set mostly for Baby Yoda. He is small and cute. His arms don&#8217;t move and can&#8217;t hold things, but that is okay. His head can swivel and be removed. The base fits on one stud.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mando comes with his <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Amban_phase-pulse_blaster" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Amban phase-pulse blaster</a>, also known as an Amban sniper rifle, and his <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Din_Djarin%27s_blaster_pistol" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">IB-94 blaster pistol</a>. Don&#8217;t forget about his Mandalorian armor, cape, and beskar helmet.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Tusken Raider is clutching his weapon known as a <a href="https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Gaderffii_stick" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">gaderffii stick</a> (also called a gaderffii or gaffi stick). </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I like the detailed printing on both the torsos and legs of these minifigs. Baby Yoda also has some printing on his torso. If you remove Mando&#8217;s helmet, there is just a black minifigure head underneath with no face, which is disappointing.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75299 Review Trouble on Tatooine Minifigures" class="wp-image-1163" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Minifigures.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Minifigures.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Minifigures.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This build occurs in three parts: the speeder bike, the Tusken hut, and the Tusken ballista.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Mando&#8217;s speeder bike has some great details for being a small build. But it is at minifigure scale. The back holds Baby Yoda&#8217;s carrier. The speeder handles are adjustable, as is the entire front section. There is a clip on the side to hold the blaster rifle. I like the floating footrest, although the minifig legs aren&#8217;t able to reach it obviously.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Right.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75299 Review Trouble on Tatooine Speeder Bike Right" class="wp-image-1164" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Right.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Right.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Right.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Right.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">A knapsack fits on this side, as well as an extra lever down on the body of the speeder. There are some clear transparent parts on the bottom which makes it appear to float off the ground a bit.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Left.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75299 Review Trouble on Tatooine Speeder Bike Left" class="wp-image-1165" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Left.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Left.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Left.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Speeder-Bike-Left.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Tusken Hut is simple, but has some great details. I like the firepit feature, and you can see a leftover bone in a large cup on the right side.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75299 Review Trouble on Tatooine Tusken Hut" class="wp-image-1166" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Tusken-Hut.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">You can also open the hut up to be able to play inside of it and can see the details even more. It doesn&#8217;t look very weatherproof but I wouldn&#8217;t expect a Tusken Raider house to be, would you?</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">However you want to refer to this, a ballista, harpoon, or bowcaster, it makes the Tusken Raider a formidable enemy. It can actually shoot projectiles as well and comes with two. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The shooting mechanism is the same spring-loaded one as on other Star Wars builds. Visually, it looks very similar to the one used in the show.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Can&#8217;t you picture being on the sands of Tatooine? The three builds flow nicely together and there are many different ways to play with this set.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Build-Top.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO Star Wars 75299 Review Trouble on Tatooine Full Build" class="wp-image-1170" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Build-Top.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Build-Top.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Build-Top.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-Star-Wars-75299-Trouble-on-Tatooine-Build-Top.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">With three builds and three minifigures, this set is a lot of fun to recreate scenes from The Mandalorian. It made a great gift from my son for Father&#8217;s Day. My favorite has to be the speeder bike. I like the mechanical details and the ability to haul around Baby Yoda in the back. Adding these three minifigures (all new to me) to our collection is a great bonus.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">At only 59 pieces, the box is on the smaller side, but a lot is packed in. The front showcases the three main parts of this build: the airplane, flag pole, and service station. Notice the new &#8220;Mickey and Friends&#8221; theme logo in the bottom right corner. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instruction booklet is rather thick for a build of this size, but this is because the 4+ builds have simpler instructions. It was easy for my 3-year-old to follow. The airplane is saved for last. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Only 1 minifigure comes with this set, but it is an adorable Mickey Mouse Pilot. The front view showcases his pilot&#8217;s jacket, goggles, and pilot wings. The back view shows his pilot&#8217;s scarf, which I didn&#8217;t notice at first when looking at him from the front. You can set a bit of red above his jacket collar. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The airplane is cute, but rather simple. The best part are the Mickey logos on the wings. The airplane only has wheels in the front, which gives it that characteristic angled look, but it would be nice to have a third wheel in the back. It&#8217;s a little unimaginative, but it is a small set. I think a biplane might have been a better choice. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Overall, this is a great build for the price point and 4+ target age. The Mickey Mouse Pilot minifigure is super cute and will look amazing with our other <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/tag/lego-disney/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO Disney</a> minifigures. The included service station adds a lot to the fun as you can repair and refuel the plane between flights. We are big Disney fans so this set is a wonderful addition to our collection. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Welcome to our review of <a href="https://amzn.to/3jih6Id" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames</a>! This is our first LEGO DOTS set review, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with how fun, creative, and interesting this build is. This set includes enough parts to make 3 picture frames and has plenty of colorful tiles to customize and decorate them. You can follow the suggested designs or have fun coming up with your own!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Right away you can see that the box for this set is a bit different. This set is actually packaged in a storage tray that is very helpful when building and decorating the picture frames. But, it can also be used afterwards for LEGO brick sorting. As you might be able to see, I got this set for a great deal at <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/how-to-find-lego-sales/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Kohl&#8217;s</a>.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The outside box does a great job at showing the different features of this build. It also provides some ideas of how to decorate your picture frames. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames Packaging Back" class="wp-image-1066" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Packaging-Back.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Once the outer cardboard is removed, you can get a great look at the sorting/storage tray. I like how the top is clear with the LEGO logo. All the small DOTS pieces are packaged separately which makes it very easy to open and keep them sorted. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instructions do emphasize creating your own design, but it does provide many different examples of ways to decorate the picture frames. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames Instructions" class="wp-image-1068" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As this was our first DOTS build, I was happy to see this package insert showing many different DOTS sets. After having fun and being pretty satisfied with the picture frames, we are excited to try some other DOTS builds.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames Insert" class="wp-image-1069" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Instructions-Insert.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The included tray is very nice to keep all the parts separate. There are even some shallower compartments at the north and south ends of the big middle compartment. This allows most of your time to be spent decorating and less time hunting for parts (which we always appreciate)! If you seem to be always hunting for parts check out our guides on <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/biggest-mistakes-when-sorting-lego-and-how-to-fix-them/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">sorting LEGO mistakes</a> and <a href="https://thebrickparent.com/best-solutions-for-lego-storage/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">best LEGO storage solutions</a>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames Bricks" class="wp-image-1070" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The final build results in three different sized picture frames! I followed a suggested design for the small purple one on the right, but came up with my own designs for the other two. It was fun to try different designs and see what I could come up with!</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build-2.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames Build" class="wp-image-1071" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build-2.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build-2.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build-2.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/LEGO-41914-DOTS-Creative-Picture-Frames-Build-2.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">LEGO calls these white brackets on the bottom left &#8220;z&#8221; bricks (technically they are <a href="https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=11215&amp;idColor=1#T=S&amp;C=1&amp;O={%22color%22:1,%22iconly%22:0}" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Bracket 5 x 2 x 1 1/3 with 2 Holes</a>, you can see why they call them &#8220;z&#8221; bricks instead). They are used to connect the picture frames as shown on the bottom right. This is a neat feature if you want to create a picture collage instead of displaying each frame separately. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">As our first DOTS build, the LEGO 41914 DOTS Creative Picture Frames was surprisingly fun and a great way to show off your love of LEGO with your favorite pictures. This would make a fun gift for parents for their home or office! One of the best parts is that you can keep the box as a sorting tray, and it does fit well in our existing <a href="https://amzn.to/2Vve3US" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">storage containers</a>!</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">In this review, we take a look at <a href="https://amzn.to/3hZTs3E" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle</a>. This is an exciting Avengers Tower set, consisting of 5 floors, 7 minifigures (including 4 exclusive ones), interactive elements, and fun details. Black Widow and Iron Man battle Red Skull and his A.I.M. Agents with lots of different areas for play. I like how the tower opens up in the middle and has movable features, which allows for a lot more play time. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The box features a nice picture on the front showing some of the interactive elements of this build. You can see the Marvel Avengers logo and a listing of all seven minifigures at the bottom. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=1024%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Packaging Front" class="wp-image-851" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=1024%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=300%2C300&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=150%2C150&amp;ssl=1 150w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=768%2C768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=80%2C80&amp;ssl=1 80w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?resize=320%2C320&amp;ssl=1 320w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Packaging-Front.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The back of the box shows all of the different rooms, and highlights how the tower opens up in the middle, which greatly expands the ways in which this set can be played with. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instruction book is decently thick. It shows the same picture as on the front of the box. Nothing too out of the ordinary here. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Instructions" class="wp-image-854" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Instructions.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Instructions.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Instructions.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minifigures</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Seven minifigures come with this set. Let&#8217;s start with the exclusive minifigures: Red Skull, Iron Man Tazer Armor, Iron Man Blazer Armor, and A.I.M. Agent &#8211; Neck Bracket on Front. The other minifigs are Black Widow, a regular A.I.M. Agent, and Iron Man.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Minifigures" class="wp-image-855" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I was unfamiliar with the Iron Man Blazer Armor and the Iron Man Tazer Armor. Let&#8217;s take a look at both of them more closely. </p>

This armor also appears in <em>Iron Man 3</em> and was destroyed by the Clean Slate Protocol. This armor was designed to last a long time before needing to be recharged. Another unique feature is that the arms have blades hidden inside them.</p>
</div>
</div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Here are the minifigures with all of their accessories. The trans-orange Power Bursts that you can see on the arms of the Blazer Armor and feet of both Blazer and Tazer are really well done and add a lot to the action. I wonder if Tazer&#8217;s lightning bolts are actually supposed to be the blades that you can see on the Mark XXX armor above. I added a couple of extra pieces to the feet of Tazer so he could stand up by himself. Notice Black Widow on her Sky Cycle, and the mini arc reactor. Red Skull looks ominous with his rocket launcher. The grappler attached to the A.I.M. agent is a lot of fun to use to scale the building.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Minifigures with Accessories" class="wp-image-856" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Minifigures-with-Accessories.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The finished tower is not that tall, but with 5 floors and 7 rooms there is a lot to build and a lot of detail was included. I really like the Avengers &#8220;A&#8221; symbol, and it is a great finishing touch to the tower. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">What really makes this build is the ability to open up the tower. You are really able to see all of the rooms and enjoy the detail within. The Sky Cycle and arc reactor fit nicely at the bottom. The other rooms feature an armory, tech lab, jail, and game room. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Open.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Build Open" class="wp-image-862" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Open.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Open.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Open.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Open.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The game room or TV room is one of my favorites. I love the little game controller sitting in the chair. The TV mounted above comes with two different stickers. You can choose to display a TV News Screen exclaiming &#8220;What is AIM?&#8221; or a video game showing Captain America battling Red Skull. </p>

</div>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Peering through the windows of the tower, you can see even more detail. I don&#8217;t think the Infinity Gauntlet was ever inside the Avengers Tower in the MCU movies, but here it is in this set with two infinity stones. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Side.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle Build Side" class="wp-image-865" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Side.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Side.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Side.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-76166-Avengers-Tower-Battle-Build-Side.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Some of the other great features of this build are the moveable elements. Let&#8217;s take a look at them below. The left shows the collapsible balcony, which is a great way to drop unexpected enemies off of the tower. The right shows the exploding windows, which is a great way for the bad guys to enter the building. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Although smaller in scale then I was initially anticipating, the LEGO 76166 Avengers Tower Battle is an exciting build with unique minifigures, great details, and many different ways to play. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> In this review we take a look at <a href="https://amzn.to/3kQz2Ma" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">LEGO 40454 Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom</a>. An exciting Marvel minifigure pack which also includes a small vehicle build. I saw this set in stores a couple of times before I ultimately decided to pick it up. I really like the unique minifigures Iron Venom and Pork Grind. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Packaging</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This set comes in a blister pack packaging, as the other minifigure packs do. The front of the packaging shows the 4 minifigures with accessories that are included, as well as the small vehicle. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Front.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40454 Review Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom Packaging Front" class="wp-image-806" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Front.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Front.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Front.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Front.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Notice that the back of the packaging only lists one minifigure as an exclusive. See the minifigure section below for more details. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Back.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40454 Review Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom Packaging Back" class="wp-image-808" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Back.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Back.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Back.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Packaging-Back.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Instructions</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The instructions are pretty basic and is just one page front and back. The picture on the front is the same as on the front of the packaging, just with a different background. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="819" height="1024" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40454 Review Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom Instructions" class="wp-image-810" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Instructions.png?resize=819%2C1024&amp;ssl=1 819w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Instructions.png?resize=240%2C300&amp;ssl=1 240w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Instructions.png?resize=768%2C960&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Instructions.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></figure>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Minifigures</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Four minifigures are included with this set: Spider-Man, Venom, Pork Grind, and Iron Venom. Spider-Man has his work cut out for him as he is the only hero among 3 villains! It is pretty disappointing that all of the legs are simply a solid color. They stand in stark contrast to their detailed top halves. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I had never heard of <a href="https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Pork_Grind_(Earth-8311)" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pork Grind</a> before, but he looks like the Venom version of <a href="https://amzn.to/3zjAtH3" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spider-Ham</a>. Both Pork Grind and Spider-Ham are from the Marvel Aniverse, where everyone is a talking animal. You may have also noticed Spider-Ham in the animated film <em><a href="https://amzn.to/2UxkNkP" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse</a></em>, where he is voiced by John Mulaney.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">I had also never heard of <a href="https://marvelsspidermananimatedseries.fandom.com/wiki/Vengeance_of_Venom" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Iron Venom</a>, but fans of Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man: Maximum Venom may recognize him from the animated series on Disney XD where Iron Man gets Venomized. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-style-default"><img data-recalc-dims="1" loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="537" src="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&#038;ssl=1" alt="LEGO 40454 Review Spider-Man versus Venom and Iron Venom Minifigures" class="wp-image-812" srcset="https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Minifigures.png?resize=1024%2C537&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Minifigures.png?resize=300%2C157&amp;ssl=1 300w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Minifigures.png?resize=768%2C402&amp;ssl=1 768w, https://i0.wp.com/thebrickparent.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/LEGO-40454-Spider-Man-versus-Venom-and-Iron-Venom-Minifigures.png?w=1080&amp;ssl=1 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></figure>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">We mentioned this above, but Pork Grind is the only exclusive minifigure listed on the box, however currently this set is the only one that has Iron Venom as well. This may mean that Iron Venom may make an appearance in other upcoming sets.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Build</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Venom Buggy build is very quick. It takes longer to put the minifigures and their accessories together. There is nothing really special about this vehicle, other than matching Venom&#8217;s colors of black and white. The instructions for the build remind me of the old style, where not all of the bricks needed for each step are listed. This is probably to keep the instructions to one page only. </p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Its nice that the extra parts include Spider-Man’s and Iron Venom’s power blasts and another of Pork Grind’s hotdogs. I&#8217;m not sure why Pork Grind would be eating hotdogs, but we&#8217;ll just choose to ignore that part. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Conclusion</h2>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">This was a fun, quick build and a great way to collect some exclusive minifigures and fun accessories. The price point is great, even if it just was for the minifigures. The main negatives are lack of printed legs and the Venom Buggy being pretty plain, but overall I would recommend this set to expand your minifigure collection. </p>
