We had previously learned from the LEGO Group in China that the LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber will be a gift with purchase (GWP) with the LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT. Now this is officially confirmed on the US LEGO site. This free promotion will run from November 26 to December 25, 2021. Make sure to place your order soon as supplies are limited. Check out the link in this paragraph for all the details on this really cool set.

LEGO 40484 Santa’s Front Yard

You could have picked this set up during early access for the VIP weekend, but it makes an appearance again here in the Black Friday offers. This time VIP status is not required. You have another chance to pick this set up for free as a GWP over $170. This is a really cute set and would make a great addition to your LEGO Winter Village.

LEGO 30576 Holiday Tree

A GWP over $40, this nice Christmas Holiday Tree set is only available in stores. It comes with a brick-built Christmas tree, stand, and two presents. I like the look of it, except for the star at the top seems a bit awkward. It looks like a repurposed wand but the handle is too long in my opinion. The $40 price point to get this set for free is high as well.

Black Friday Sale on Select LEGO Sets

From 11/26 to 11/29 selected LEGO sets will be on sale for Black Friday. No other details are given so we will have to visit the LEGO website on these days to see what deals we can find.

LEGO Fleece Blanket

On Cyber Monday, 11/29 only, you can get this VIP gift fleece blanket as a GWP over $200. The blanket just appears to have the outline of a LEGO minifigure in white on a background of blue. I don’t think this gift is that exciting and is not worth having to spend over $200. If you were planning to pick up a set this weekend anyway it will be a nice bonus.

However, judging by the scale of the picture, it is at least two pinecones high. This would make a great addition to any LEGO room although the price point is a bit high. LEGO 40484 Santa’s Front Yard

A great expansion to your LEGO Winter Village, get VIP Early Access to the Santa’s Front Yard set. You can get this as a gift with purchases (GWP) over $170. The adidas and LEGO collaboration expands with the first ever adidas x LEGO week! You may recall the widely popular LEGO 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar set where you could build your own iconic shoe. There have also been prior sneaker releases.

However, we have never seen anything like this before! From now through October 24, 2021, this special week launches more clothing and shoes with exclusive items for members of the adidas Creators Club.

Some really exciting items are the adidas Dame ExtPly 7 x LEGO Shoes, and clothing featuring NBA superstars Damian Lillard, James Harden, and Donovan Mitchell. You may recognize these players as they have been transformed into LEGO minifigures!

If you are a member of the adidas Creators Club, you will also have access to contests for a chance to win LEGO basketball gear signed by Damian Lillard, and family pack of four tickets to LEGOLAND. You can enter the contests in the adidas app. If you are not a member of the Creators Club you can join for free.

Yesterday, Target announced its limited-edition collaboration with the LEGO Group, called LEGO Collection x Target. Just in time for the holidays, this lifestyle series includes home goods, pets, toys, gifts, apparel, and accessories for kids as well as adults.

The official Target press release states:

Last year, more than 80% of families who purchased a LEGO set spent more time building together than any other leisure activity. Now, Target and the LEGO Group are working hand in hand to reimagine the brand’s iconic colorful bricks into a myriad of items that give guests even more reason to come together through a curated assortment that celebrates self-expression.

LEGO Collection x Target Products

Items announced in this collection include hoodies, puffer jackets, pajamas, fanny packs, storage boxes, and tumblers. Not only will these products make great Christmas gifts, they will likely become collectors items due to their limited-edition release.

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the apparel items. The puffer jacket and hat have to be my favorites. I love the bright colors that look just like LEGO bricks. Now that it is getting colder I want to wear them soon!

This collection is very inclusive which is reflected in the sizing options. Sizes range from XXS-4X in women’s and S-5XLT in men’s. Adaptive and sensory-friendly options for kids and baby are also offered.

Almost 300 items are a part of this collection. The price range is from $1.50-$120, however most items will retail for under $30.

Take a look at these LEGO tumblers! Don’t they look like the LEGO minifigure cups? I wonder if they will also have some with handles.

We love shopping at Target for LEGO sets, because you can frequently find LEGO sets on clearance and on sale at Target. Now that we can buy clothes, accessories, and home items we can decorate our house with LEGO even more!

This week I was shopping at a local Macy’s in Southern California and discovered they are having a sale on LEGO Kids’ clothes at 40% off! Let’s take a look at some of the awesome items they have! These are in the Boys’ section and are from sizes 2 – 7. With fall on the way soon, these hoodie and pants sets, or long sleeve T-shirts and pants sets, are great for the cold weather.

This hoodie and pants set features a LEGO gamer minifigure. He has headphones and a LEGO brick controller, which appears to be a printed tile.

Here are a couple more hoodie and pants sets. The one on the right features the classic LEGO colors of yellow, red, and blue. The set on the left features LEGO bricks diagonally across the front in red, blue, yellow, and white.

“Change the World One Brick at a Time” is the slogan of this hoodie and pants set. LEGO has a Build the Change initiative for kids which you can read more about on their website. There are building challenges to inspire kids to “build the change” they want to see in the world.

I like this brick pattern of the hoodie and pants sets the best. Plus, these were available in smaller sizes.

There is also a wide selection of long sleeve T-shirts and pants sets. I didn’t get close up photos of all of them, but you can see them all here.

This one says “Future Engineer.” Not a bad way to get your start by playing and designing with LEGO bricks!

With a little one at home, our motto is indeed “Build, Smash, Repeat.” Dad does most of the building. I’m sure you can guess who does most of the smashing. Then dad rebuilds. This is my favorite shirt overall.
