LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber GWP of UCS AT-AT

The LEGO Group in China reveals that LEGO Star Wars 40483 Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber will be a gift with purchase (GWP) when you buy LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT. This GWP will only be available from November 26 to December 25, 2021. Black Friday, November 26 is also the release date of the UCS AT-AT set. Supplies of Luke Skywalker’s Lightsaber are limited as well, so it will probably sell out before the end of this time period.

This lightsaber has gone by many different names according to Star Wars Canon. It could also be called the Skywalker Lightsaber, Luke Skywalker’s first lightsaber, Rey’s first lightsaber, or Anakin Skywalker’s second lightsaber. It was initially made by Anakin Skywalker and had a blue blade. After Anakin (or technically Darth Vader) was defeated by Obi-Wan Kenobi at the Duel on Mustafar, Obi-Wan kept the lightsaber. He then gave the lightsaber to Luke Skywalker. Luke lost the lightsaber when battling Darth Vader during the Duel on Cloud City. Maz Kanata then acquired the lightsaber and Rey eventually took it.
Packaging
The packaging looks quite impressive and is in the style of an adult 18+ set. There is a total of 173 pieces.
There are now a total of two official LEGO lightsabers. The first is LEGO Star Wars 6346097 Yoda’s Lightsaber (U.S. version) or LEGO Star Wars 6346098 Yoda’s Lightsaber (European version). This lightsaber was also a gift with purchase (GWP) if you bought LEGO Star Wars 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina.
One of the main differences between these two sets is the packaging. Yoda’s Lightsaber came with the original GWP yellow box, whereas Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber appears to come with the 18+ black box.
