If you are a fan of thrill rides and theme parks, you’re going to love the new LEGO 10303 Loop Coaster. This set is part of the new LEGO ICONS theme for adults and was recently revealed by The LEGO Group last month. If you are a LEGO VIP, you can get this set before everyone else! It is now available with VIP early access.

At over 36 inches high (that’s 3 feet!), LEGO 10303 Loop Coaster is one of the tallest LEGO sets. There will never be a dull moment when building all of the twists and turns. You will notice the huge elevator tower which lifts the car high up in the air. This allows enough power to make it through two loops!

The roller-coaster uses gravity for power, but you can also the LEGO Powered Up motor for the elevator. One train comes with the set, along with a boarding station. Other accessories are a pretzel cart, balloon cart, hot-dog stand, park bench and map, and height marker.

Furthermore, this set comes with eleven minifigures! These are a ride operator, balloon seller, pretzel seller, hot-dog seller, a grandma, a young boy, and five additional riders.

Let’s take a closer look at some amazing product photos.

Packaging

The dark theme of the packaging is consistent with the other adult LEGO sets. At 3,756 pieces, this set will make for a challenging build. Also, notice the “Fairground Collection” shown below the set name and logo. This may be a new subtheme of the LEGO ICONS.

The back of the box shows many of the amazing features. Notice on the right it lists the components of the Powered UP. Look at the size of that vertical drop!

Build

This looks like a fun and challenging build. Even more challenging by emptying out all the bags in those bowls.

These look like sticker elements for the ride entrance. That kid looks mad as he is too short to ride. Also, sorry no squirrels allowed.

A nicely decorated boarding area awaits the riders. Translucent studs make for a nice look. I’m not sure if I would have planted a palm tree there.

The balloon cart is a nice addition. I think the balloon animals are very well done, and I haven’t seen this accessory before! Maybe some translucent balloons next?

Two loops will have your riders screaming with joy on this ride. It’s impressive that the car is gravity powered to make it through a double loop

Here’s a closer look at the optional Powered Up motor. This will allow your car to go up the elevator on its own.

Minifigures

Finally, check out these 11 minifigures! There aren’t too many accessories, I guess because five of them are supposed to be riders. The squirrel is super cute!
