Please keep in mind that receipts may take up to two business days to process. From August 1, 2022, only receipts from Target or Target.com will be accepted. This promotion is a little hard to find. It is not displayed prominently on LEGO.com or on Target.com. I also visited my local Target store today and did not see any advertising of this promotion at all. In fact, the shelves were pretty bare. This hasn’t been that unusual lately, and whether this is because the LEGO sets are selling out or due to supply chain issues is unclear. However, this promotion does not start until August 1st so maybe that’s why there was no advertising yet.

Go to the LEGO VIP Rewards Center home which you can find at this link: https://www.lego.com/en-us/vip/rewards-center. You might be asked to log in to your account if you aren’t already.

Upload Target Receipt

Scroll down until you see the Target logo on the left-hand side of the page.

Click where it says “Complete” and this box will popup with more detailed instructions. Select the photo of the receipt and submit!

This is a great promotion to be able to earn LEGO VIP Points on the Target exclusive LEGO sets. Additionally, even though the LEGO Collection x Target has been retired, you can still pick up the LEGO Collection x Target Art Project and LEGO Collection x Target Minifigure Astronaut Plush. However, the Astronaut Plush is not eligible for the LEGO VIP Points promotion.

The 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group launches with LEGO CON 2022. If you weren’t able to catch it live, check out our recap for all of the exciting news. We saw new products, brands, activities, and special guests. Once again, LEGO CON was a free, virtual event in 2022. A two hour live show, it was hosted by Vick Hope, Joel McHale and Melvin Odoom.

90 Years of Play

Can you believe that the LEGO Group is celebrating its 90th anniversary? During this segment, two new LEGO ICONS sets are revealed. These are:

• 10305 LEGO Lion Knights’ Castle
• 10497 LEGO Galaxy Explorer

If you are an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) you will likely recognize similar sets from your childhood! Let’s take a look at each of these sets in more detail.

LEGO 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle

The set takes inspiration from the Legendary LEGO Castles sets we all grew up with. It includes over 4,500 pieces, 22 minifigures, hidden passageways, and a medieval drawbridge. Specifically, this set was influenced by LEGO 6080 King’s Castle from 1984. It will go on sale starting August 8, 2022 with early VIP access starting on August 3.

LEGO 10497 Galaxy Explorer

Another nostalgic set, you may find this spaceship looks familiar. This set gains inspiration from LEGO 497 Galaxy Explorer from 1979. Travel to LEGO Space with four astronauts and their robot. Further, this build features three retractable landing legs, opening rear doors, and a retractable ramp to deploy the rover. It is currently available for pre-order and will ship starting on August 1, 2022.

LEGO Avatar

One of the most exciting reveals was the new LEGO Avatar theme. This set celebrates the iconic film before the release of Avatar: The Way of Water premiering this December.

LEGO 75574 Avatar Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls

Revisit the world of Pandora with this unique set. Avatar Na’vi minifigures Jake Sully, Neytiri, Mo’at, and Tsu’Tey are included. The first item in the new LEGO Collection x Target collaboration is now available for preorder on Target.com! This product is LEGO 21226 Art Project – Create Together. It will start shipping on December 4, 2021.

The LEGO Collection x Target Art Project is fun for the whole family. This set builds on the very successful LEGO Art theme, and lets you create your own design combinations. During the build, you make one picture that is made up of nine different plates.

The really awesome part is that there are a total of 36 different designs to choose from! This is because there are nine image options in each of four themes of food, patterns, icons and interests.

This set also features a very unique buildable frame and wall hanging elements to display your creation!

Personalized Features

Take a look at the 16 different colored tile elements you can choose from. You can follow the instructions to build these amazing pictures or come up with designs of your own.

One interesting way to sort through all of the many wonderful LEGO sets is by the number of bricks or pieces. In this post, we take a look at the largest LEGO sets of all time. The order of this list has changed several times over the last couple of years, most recently with the addition of the LEGO Titanic and the LEGO AT-AT. This list is sorted by the number of pieces, not by the overall size of the built set. We will continue to update this list as bigger and bigger sets are released!

1. LEGO Art 31203 World Map – 11,695 pieces

LEGO Art 31203 World Map is the currently the largest LEGO set at 11,695 pieces. This massive set allows you to build 1 of 3 unique combinations of the world map. Relax as you build with the included soundtrack.

2. LEGO Creator Expert 10294 Titanic – 9,090 pieces

A recent addition to this list in the second largest LEGO set spot is LEGO Creator Expert 10294 Titanic at 9,090 pieces. However, it is the largest LEGO set by size, measuring 53 inches long, height of 17.5 inches, and width of 6 inches. This set is so large it is broken into three different sections. Flying in at the fourth largest LEGO set is the LEGO Star Wars 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon at 7,541 pieces. As an owner of this set myself, I can truly attest to how amazing it is. It is incredibly detailed and will appeal to all Star Wars fans with the ability to choose between the classic or sequel crewmembers. This set is also #1 on our list of the Top 10 Best LEGO Millennium Falcon sets. Furthermore, it is also the most expensive LEGO set ever.

5. LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT – 6,785 pieces

The newest addition to the list and another Star Wars UCS set is LEGO Star Wars 75313 UCS AT-AT with 6,785 pieces. Not only is it the fifth largest LEGO set, it is also tied for the most expensive with the UCS Millennium Falcon above. 6. LEGO Harry Potter 71043 Hogwarts Castle – 6,020 pieces

11. LEGO Star Wars 10179 Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon – 5,197 pieces

The eleventh largest LEGO set is LEGO Star Wars 10179 Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon at 5,197 pieces. This is the first UCS edition of this set released in 2007. That makes two Millennium Falcon’s in the top 10! When this set came out it was the biggest set ever made. Now, the largest LEGO set is over double the number of pieces of this set! The LEGO Star Wars 75252 UCS Imperial Star Destroyer with 4,784 pieces is the thirteenth largest LEGO set. This makes four Ultimate Collector Series (UCS) Star Wars Sets on our list! It is fascinating to see how the brick count and size of the biggest LEGO sets have increased over the years. I wonder how long the number one position will last! It will be hard to top over 11,000 pieces, but we will have to wait and see what The LEGO Group has planned next?

You better act fast to catch this Target sale on lots of different LEGO sets! It might be a great time to do some early Christmas shopping! I ran into this LEGO sale at my local Southern California Target on many different themes including LEGO Art, Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Ninjago. There are also LEGO City, Minecraft, and Super Mario sets on sale. Some of the sales ended 9/18, however, the majority of the sales end on 9/25/21. Let’s take a closer look at some of the best deals!

LEGO Star Wars 75276 Stormtrooper Helmet is a great deal at $12 off for a total price of $47.99! Notice that LEGO Star Wars 75277 Boba Fett Helmet is not on sale, but the regular retail price is only $49.99. These helmets make a great gift for any Star Wars fan.

There are many different LEGO City sets on sale. But, a lot of them were already sold out. There were not any in particular that stood out to me.

This LEGO Harry Potter 75953 Hogwarts Whomping Willow set is on sale for $6 off. Not a huge discount, but a good deal if you were planning on buying this set anyway. This set depicts an iconic scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

There are some LEGO Minecraft sets on sale as well. Of note, LEGO Star Wars 75284 Knights of Ren Transport Ship is on sale for $14 off, for a total of only $55.99! Also, you can see LEGO Harry Potter 75966 Hogwarts Room of Requirement on sale for $4 off.

These LEGO class books are very popular and you can see two of them on sale for $6 off. These include LEGO Harry Potter 76385 Hogwarts Moment: Charms Class, and LEGO Harry Potter 76383 Hogwarts Moment: Potions Class. The sale might apply to all of these Hogwarts Moments sets, so it might be best to ask if you wanted any of the others.

Another great deal is LEGO NINJAGO 71738 Zane’s Titan Mech Battle for $11.50 off!

Interestingly, the LEGO Vidiyo sets are not on sale yet. Although the regular retail price has been decreased a bit on some of the sets. I will keep waiting.

The greatest deal of them all are these LEGO Art sets for $20 off! These are LEGO 31199 Marvel Studios Iron Man, LEGO 31198 The Beatles, and LEGO 31197 Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe. It’s a little disappointing the others were not on sale also, but what a great deal!
