Earn LEGO VIP Points By Shopping at Target Stores and Online

According to the LEGO VIP Rewards Page, starting August 1st you can earn LEGO VIP Points by shopping at Target! Upload a photo of a receipt to earn points for your LEGO set purchases. For every $1 spent on LEGO sets at Target stores or on Target.com, you will receive one VIP point.

Please keep in mind that receipts may take up to two business days to process. From August 1, 2022, only receipts from Target or Target.com will be accepted. Take a photo of a single physical receipt or a screenshot of your order detail/printable invoice to upload. The following information must be displayed on the image: Store name (if purchased in store), LEGO set quantity, purchase total, purchase date and time, 9-digit Target item identification (DPCI) and LEGO set number or set name, and LEGO set price.

This promotion is a little hard to find. It is not displayed prominently on LEGO.com or on Target.com. I also visited my local Target store today and did not see any advertising of this promotion at all. In fact, the shelves were pretty bare. This hasn’t been that unusual lately, and whether this is because the LEGO sets are selling out or due to supply chain issues is unclear. However, this promotion does not start until August 1st so maybe that’s why there was no advertising yet.

Let’s walk through how to find this promotion so you don’t miss it!

Visit the LEGO VIP Rewards Center

Go to the LEGO VIP Rewards Center home which you can find at this link: https://www.lego.com/en-us/vip/rewards-center. You might be asked to log in to your account if you aren’t already.

Upload Target Receipt

Scroll down until you see the Target logo on the left-hand side of the page.

Upload Target Receipt

Click where it says “Complete” and this box will popup with more detailed instructions. Select the photo of the receipt and submit!

This is a great promotion to be able to earn LEGO VIP Points on the Target exclusive LEGO sets. Additionally, even though the LEGO Collection x Target has been retired, you can still pick up the LEGO Collection x Target Art Project and LEGO Collection x Target Minifigure Astronaut Plush. However, the Astronaut Plush is not eligible for the LEGO VIP Points promotion.
