The LEGO Group has reimagined its Rebuild the World Campaign for 2021. This global campaign shows how children are expert creative problem solvers, and what can happen when people come together to solve difficult situations.

The story for this year is The Damp Knight’s Tale. It features a Knight who attempts to cross a river to help his friend, the bear, who is trying to play on a see saw. The local town is sympathetic to the knight’s plight, and attempts to help him in many different and unique ways. Finally a solution is found, and it is revealed that this story has been created and told by a group of children creatively playing with LEGO!

This short film is very interesting because of all the Easter Eggs hidden throughout. Check out this screenshot which shows many fun details and nods to different sets! How many different things can you identify?

LEGO play allows for children to build anything their imagination can dream up! They can learn skills of trial and error, creative thinking, and problem solving. Below are some pictures of the campaign’s visual stories that demonstrate the power of solving problems with creativity and imagination.
