Seven New LEGO Monkie Kid Sets Revealed for 2022

The next wave of LEGO Monkie Kid sets for 2022 are now live on the online LEGO Shop. There are a whopping seven new sets that have been revealed. Earlier this month, we were able to see a sneak peek of LEGO Monkie Kid 80035 Galactic Explorer at the the 4th China International Import Expo (CIIE). However, there are six new additional sets to take a look at! All of these sets are launching on January 1, 2022.
Here is a list of all of these new LEGO Monkie Kid sets for 2022:

LEGO Monkie Kid 80030 Monkie Kid’s Staff Creations
Rebuild the legendary Monkey King stories with Monkie Kid’s Staff Creations. Kids can build a mech, race car and airplane.
A new for January 2022 Monkie Kid minifigure in a training outfit and the Monkey King with The Golden Staff minifigure are included. The neat Monkie Kid logo is featured on all of these builds.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80031 Mei’s Dragon Car
Kids can build Mei’s Dragon Car and travel with her and Monkie Kid to claim back the Fire Ring from the Shadow Monkeys with this set.
Mei, Monkie Kid, and two Shadow Monkey minifigures come with this set. Additionally, you can build Monkie Kid’s Cloud Board and the Shadow Monkeys’ trike.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80032 Chang’e Moon Cake Factory
This set features Chang’e’s Moon base, live-streaming platform, moon cake factory production line, carrot-shaped rocket, and a bunny mech.
The minifigure characters include Chang’e, Lunar Rabbit Robot with a carrot gun, and Pigsy in a space outfit with a rake and blue Fire Ring. Additionally, Mo the cat and two bunny toy figures come with this set.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80033 Evil Macaque’s Mech
Battle the Evil Macaque’s Mech with this set. The mech has posable joints and a large staff that the mech can hold or have clipped onto its back.
Five minifigures come with this set which are Mei, Monkie Kid, Sandy, Evil Macaque, and Rumble. Furthermore, a neat accessory is Monkie Kid’s stud-shooting Golden Staff Cannon.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80034 Nezha’s Fire Ring
Build Nezha’s Fire Ring monowheel vehicle with this super cool set. Additional builds include Evil Macaque’s stud-shooting jet flyer, Monkie Kid’s Golden Staff Flyer, and the White Bone Demon’s throne.
This set comes with six minifigures: Nezha, Monkie Kid, Monkey King, Evil Macaque, White Bone Demon, and Savage.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80035 Monkie Kid’s Galactic Explorer
This set was first revealed at the China International Import Expo (CIIE). Now, the full description is available. Kids can build Monkie Kid’s Galactic Explorer spaceship and launchpad. This set also includes a jetpack, moon rover, minifigure cockpit, crew cabin, and storage for the green Fire Ring.
Six minifigures come with this set, which are Monkie Kid, Mei, Sandy, Mr. Tang, Rumble, and Savage. Additionally, a Robot Mo figure and many weapons and accessories are included.
LEGO Monkie Kid 80036 The City of Lanterns
This is my favorite set of the seven! It would make a great addition to your LEGO City. The City of Lanterns features a 360-degree play experience. The buildings include a LEGO toy shop, Lotus Hotel, Speedy Panda store, two restaurants, K-TV karaoke booth, bubble tea café, and a rapid transit Pigsy-branded train and track. The buildings can be combined in multiple ways to create your own unique city.
The seven minifigures included are Monkie Kid, Mr. Tang, Mei, Pigsy, Han, Huang, and a train driver. Additionally, buildable Citybot A05 and Citybot A16 robots come with this set.
