LEGO Super Mario, Star Wars, and Marvel Sale at Costco
Headed over to my local Southern California Costco on this Friday evening and was pleased to discover a nice LEGO sale on Super Mario, Star Wars, and Marvel. You never know what kind of a LEGO selection you might find at Costco. After having a long dry spell of nothing at all, or only LEGO 10717 Classic Bricks Bricks Bricks (which incidentally is a great deal at $39.99), I was lucky to find such a wide variety of sets.
Immediately noticeable is this big pallet of Baby Yodas, or LEGO Star Wars 75318 The Child. At $62.99, that is a great deal as the full retail price is $79.99. Using our LEGO Set Analysis Tool, you can quickly compare prices to see that Amazon also currently has it for $1 more at $63.99. I am a big LEGO Star Wars and Baby Yoda fan, but I just can’t seem to get excited about this set. The studs showing on his clothes I think could look better and his face doesn’t really have much of an expression. I passed on these at least for today.
In the middle are some great deals on LEGO Super Mario. Here you can see LEGO 71360 Super Mario Adventures with Mario Starter Course and LEGO 71387 Super Mario Adventures with Luigi Starter Course. That’s right both Mario and Luigi! At $44.99 each this is a great savings off the regular retail price of $59.99. I have yet to purchase any of these sets for my collection, so I got both of them! The packaging is interesting on these as they come in regular rectangular boxes as opposed to the triangle shaped boxes like they have at Target. Additionally, Costco has also been the only store recently where I have seen the Luigi sets in stock.
The other LEGO Star Wars set is 75312 Boba Fett’s Starship. No matter how you feel about the name change, at only $38.99 you can fly away with a great price off the full retail at $49.99.
A Costco exclusive, the LEGO Marvel 66671 Mech Armor Collection 3 in 1 is a great value pack. It combines LEGO 76168 Captain America Mech Armor, LEGO 76169 Thor Mech Armor, and LEGO 76171 Miles Morales Mech Armor. The price isn’t shown here, but it is a great deal at $23.99. These sets retail for $9.99 each individually. Some close up pictures are included below.
Hiding under the book section is LEGO 60308 Seaside Police and Fire Mission and LEGO 31118 Surfer Beach House. These retail at $49.99 each so at $38.99 you are getting a good price.
The below pics are what I splurged on and brought home today! I couldn’t pass up getting both of the Mario Bros. I am looking forward to being able to build and play some real life Mario courses with my son.
It is great to add this iconic ship to my collection. I do not own any of the prior versions. This is also my first Boba Fett minifigure!
A closer look at this super cool LEGO Marvel 3-in-1 pack! love the box art and how it looks all together.
Inside this main box, it does have the three other little boxes as shown on the right. So basically boxes within a box, but it comes at a nice discount.
Overall, a great Costco trip to find LEGO sales! I was not planning on finding such great deals but I am glad I can share them with you. For more bargain hunting, check out our guide on How to Find LEGO Sales and Deals!
