Autobots Roll Out with LEGO 10302 Transformers Optimus Prime

The LEGO Group and Hasbro join forces to create the new LEGO 10302 Transformers Optimus Prime. This marks the first LEGO Transformers set ever! Additionally, you can build both the robot and alt modes of this iconic toy. Part of the new LEGO ICONS theme, you can travel back to the past with over 1,500 pieces of 1980’s nostalgia.
This set is a perfect tribute to everyone’s favorite leader of the Autobots. In robot mode, he stands over 1 foot tall. You can transform into truck alt mode using 19 points of articulation. There is no need to take apart and rebuild the model!
Transformers originally debuted in 1984 with the animated TV show and popular toy line. This model features the G1 Optimus Prime. Accessories such as the Energon Axe, ion blaster, Energon Cube, and the Autobot Matrix of Leadership come with the set.
Packaging
Celebrate over 35 years of Transformers with this epic LEGO set. The front of the box features Optimus Prime’s Robot mode. Check out the upper right corner where you can see how the model converts to the truck alt mode.
The back of the box shows how the model converts without having to take it apart! This is one of only a very few LEGO sets that can do this.

It looks easy enough to convert to the truck without breaking. These articulating joints are typically pretty sturdy.

While in Robot mode, strap on the jetpack to extend the play options!
Furthermore, store the Autobot Matrix of Leadership in the chest compartment. Right where it belongs!
