In preparation of the release of Avatar: The Way of Water in December, fans were given an exclusive peek at LEGO Avatar Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls at LEGO CON in June. This set is the first in a new line of LEGO Avatar products that celebrates the whole franchise to date. It is currently available for pre-order online at the LEGO Shop and on Amazon and will ship starting on October 1, 2022.

These four new sets at San Diego Comic Con 2022 are:

• 40554 LEGO Avatar Jake Sully & his Avatar
• 75571 LEGO Avatar Neytiri & Thanator vs. AMP Suit Quaritch
• 75572 LEGO Avatar Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight
• 75573 LEGO Avatar Floating Mountains: Site 26 & RDA Samson

The new sets let fans construct and relive their favorite scenes from the film, such as when Neytiri teaches Jake how to link with a Banshee and soar above Pandora. Additionally, you can remember the moment when the group sets up camp a distance from Colonel Quaritch and witnesses the fabled Hallelujah Mountains for the first time.

Starting on October 1, 2022, the much awaited selection of LEGO Avatar items will be offered on LEGO.com, in LEGO Stores, and internationally at all major retailers.

Further, pre-orders for the LEGO Avatar Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight are currently available on LEGO.com and Amazon.

Finally, starting on October 1, 2022, the LEGO Brickheadz Avatar Jake Sully & his Avatar set will only be offered through LEGO.com, LEGO Stores, and other LEGO channels. There is no preorder option.

LEGO 40554 Avatar Jake Sully & his Avatar

In this LEGO BrickHeadz set, Jake Sully appears in both his human and Avatar forms. Additionally, you can remove the figure from the wheelchair.

LEGO 75571 Avatar Neytiri & Thanator vs. AMP Suit Quaritch

Start by putting the Colonel in his AMP suit and Neytiri on her Thanator. Then, join Neytiri in her struggle against Colonel Quaritch by connecting to your Thanator using your Na’vi kuru. Furthermore, this set includes glow-in-the-dark accessories to simulate the jungle.

LEGO 75572 Avatar Jake & Neytiri’s First Banshee Flight

Fly a Banshee and demonstrate your suitability to join the Na’vi. Follow Jake and Neytiri as they fly across the Hallelujah Mountains. Fly into the clouds after boarding the Banshee and joining it with your Na’vi kuru. As you fly about, have a look at the many floating mountains, then return to Hometree!

LEGO 75573 Avatar Floating Mountains: Site 26 & RDA Samson

In this new LEGO Avatar set, Jake, Norm, Dr. Grace Augustine, and Trudy explore Pandora. Fly to Site 26 aboard the SA-2 Samson chopper, then enter the lab to assist Dr. Grace with her flora analysis. Put Jake on his linkbed and let his Avatar come to life. Explore the region with Jake and Norm by climbing on a Direhorse and connecting with it.

The 90th anniversary of the LEGO Group launches with LEGO CON 2022. If you weren’t able to catch it live, check out our recap for all of the exciting news. We saw new products, brands, activities, and special guests. Once again, LEGO CON was a free, virtual event in 2022. A two hour live show, it was hosted by Vick Hope, Joel McHale and Melvin Odoom.

This year’s LEGO CON had something for everyone. We found out new info on LEGO Avatar, Star Wars, Marvel, Super Mario, and more! Check out the table of contents to quickly jump to the reveal of each set.

90 Years of Play

Can you believe that the LEGO Group is celebrating its 90th anniversary? During this segment, two new LEGO ICONS sets are revealed. These are:

• 10305 LEGO Lion Knights’ Castle
• 10497 LEGO Galaxy Explorer

If you are an Adult Fan of LEGO (AFOL) you will likely recognize similar sets from your childhood! Let’s take a look at each of these sets in more detail.

LEGO 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle

The set takes inspiration from the Legendary LEGO Castles sets we all grew up with. It includes over 4,500 pieces, 22 minifigures, hidden passageways, and a medieval drawbridge. Specifically, this set was influenced by LEGO 6080 King’s Castle from 1984. It will go on sale starting August 8, 2022 with early VIP access starting on August 3.

LEGO 10497 Galaxy Explorer

Another nostalgic set, you may find this spaceship looks familiar. This set gains inspiration from LEGO 497 Galaxy Explorer from 1979. Travel to LEGO Space with four astronauts and their robot. Further, this build features three retractable landing legs, opening rear doors, and a retractable ramp to deploy the rover. It is currently available for pre-order and will ship starting on August 1, 2022.

LEGO Avatar

One of the most exciting reveals was the new LEGO Avatar theme. This set celebrates the iconic film before the release of Avatar: The Way of Water premiering this December.

LEGO 75574 Avatar Toruk Makto & Tree of Souls

Revisit the world of Pandora with this unique set. Avatar Na’vi minifigures Jake Sully, Neytiri, Mo’at, and Tsu’Tey are included. Additional features are a buildable Tree of Souls, a Toruk figure with foil wings, and a Direhorse figure. Finally, discover three different environment builds with glow-in-the-dark pieces.

LEGO Star Wars

Always a fan favorite, two new LEGO Star Wars sets were revealed. Be the first to check out both of these exciting new sets to add to your collection.

LEGO Star Wars 75323 The Justifier

Replay your favorite Star Wars: The Bad Batch stories with this epic build. The iconic villain Cad Bane is back with his starship, The Justifier. Minifigures include Cad Bane, Omega, Fennec Shand, Hunter, and Todo 360.

LEGO Star Wars 75337 AT-TE Walker

Transport yourself to the Battle of Utapau with this amazing new LEGO Star Wars set. You may remember this epic battle from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. Expand your armies with a total of 8 minifigs: Commander Cody, one 212th Clone Gunner, three 212th Clone Troopers, and three Battle Droids.

The AT-TE Walker features posable legs, a 360-degree-rotating elevating heavy blaster cannon, two stud shooters, and cockpit. Furthermore, two cabins can hold up to 7 LEGO minifigures in total.

LEGO Marvel

Fans of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will love this next set.

LEGO 76218 Sanctum Sanctorum

Celebrate the Master of the Mystic Arts, Doctor Strange, with this LEGO version of the Sanctum Sanctorum. Build three stories to play with nine minifigures: Doctor Strange, Wong, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Ebony Maw, Master Mordo, Sinister Strange, Dead Strange, and The Scarlet Witch. This building would even look great in your LEGO modular building collection.

LEGO Super Mario

The LEGO Super Mario adventures continue to expand. Now you can play with even more friends with these new character packs.

LEGO 71410 Super Mario Character Packs – Series 5

These character packs feature eight LEGO Super Mario characters to collect: Nabbit, Purple Toad, Hammer Bro, Waddlewing, Toady, Baby Yoshi, Red Yoshi, and Blue Shy Guy.

The LEGO BrickHeadz theme gets a really cool addition.
