Celebrate the LEGO Harry Potter 20th Anniversary with Neville Longbottom

To celebrate the LEGO Harry Potter 20th Anniversary, the LEGO Group has enlisted the help of Neville Longbottom actor Matthew Lewis. For over 20 years, fans of Harry Potter have been able to replay their favorite moments from the Wizarding World with these magical LEGO sets. Lewis’ task is to recreate his favorite scenes from the Harry Potter films in LEGO. Specifically, he is to recreate his 20 favorite scenes spanning all of the movies.
You can view what he came up with below. This is a short video, but entertaining to watch what favorite scenes he chooses, and listen to his memories, anecdotes, and behind the scenes snippets from making the films.

LEGO Harry Potter 75955 Hogwarts Express
Lewis mentions a trip on Hogwarts Express, and recalls spending a lot of time filming on the platform. Along with the train, this LEGO set includes Platform 9¾ with a moving brick wall entrance and a railway bridge.
LEGO Harry Potter 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower
Another one of Lewis’ favorite scenes takes place at Hogwarts Astronomy Tower. LEGO minifigures that come with this set include Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom. Explore other rooms in the tower such as the Ravenclaw dormitory and Horace Slughorn’s classroom.
LEGO Harry Potter 76383 Hogwarts Moment: Potions Class
Lewis states that this is one of his favorite LEGO sets of all time, not just one of his favorite Harry Potter sets. He mentions how he loves that it folds up into a book like magic! LEGO Harry Potter 76388 Hogsmeade Village Visit
Lewis mentions how everyone is having a tasty butter beer inside the The Three Broomsticks pub, and Harry Potter can’t be seen because he is in his invisibility cloak. The other building that comes with this set is Honeydukes candy store. An exclusive, golden, anniversary Ron Weasley minifigure is also included.
LEGO Harry Potter 76389 Hogwarts Chamber of Secrets
This set features the Chamber of Secrets and the Great Hall. The Basilisk hides inside a secret corridor and has jaws that really open, a rotatable head, and a 3-part tail. The exclusive, golden, anniversary Voldemort minifigure comes with this set.

The first time Neville Longbottom appeared as a minifigure was in 2004. Currently, there are several different versions of him.
